7:25 pm pre-concert panel discussion with composers
Every two years, Opus 7 presents what is one of our favorite events of the season: a concert of works composed exclusively by some of the finest choral composers in the Northwest. This year’s “All Northwest” concert event features works by John David Earnest, Lorri Kristin Froggét, Bern Herbolsheimer, Evan Ingalls, Gerald Kechley, Morten Lauridsen, Sean MacLean, Donald Skirvin, Joan Szymko, Reginald Unterseher, David White, and Opus 7’s Composer-in-Residence John Muehleisen.
Joining Opus 7 for this spectacular collection of choral music are instrumentalists Christina Siemens, piano; Cherilyn Reimers, violin; and David Lepse, organ.
Prior to the concert at 7:25 p.m., Opus 7’s composer-in-residence John Muehleisen hosts a panel of the evening’s composers discussing their own works.
Reserved seating is available by advance donation. Suggested donation is $18.00 in advance, $20 at the door for adults; students and seniors pay as able.
